About Me
I have a background in nursing and was advised to start Pilates to help with lower back pain and hip pain. Participating in Pilate’s classes I noticed a real improvement in my symptoms and after a few months, my lower back pain and hip pain resolved. I also saw an improvement in my posture and general well being. I looked forward to my weekly classes and started to attend classes twice a week and gained a passion for Pilates, which led me to train as a Pilate’s teacher with The Pilates Foundation and CYQ. I undertook further training with Body control becoming an accredited body control teacher.
I’ve recently added training in the Pilates equipment to my CV and I’m a fully qualified Balance Body Reformer teacher and trained in the chair and Cadilac with Lisa Bradshaw. I remain passionate about Pilates and continue to keep myself up to date attending workshops and learning new skills. I help my clients discover the joy of movement, using Pilates as a mindful approach to exercise, building strength and flexibility and gaining a greater understanding of their body.
